some of them are really really neat like that one, others in harder to reach places are not quite so pleasing to the eye. all are nice and strong though. lovin my ebay special tig though, best $280 ever spent.....

TIG is the shit... Though I never use mine for steel... Just zap zap with the old mig...
Its faster.... but ugly..LOL Plus its cheaper than chewing throw the argon.

I paid 1500 for mine but it does pulse and AC as well so I ca do ally.
Took ages to get it set up right for ally.... soo many knobs to adjust..![]()
mine will pulse, but not ac. works well on steel and stainless..... i just mainly got it because it was cheap, and wanted to learn something new. it is very slow though, but im in no rush
what brand is it?
i need to get a welder asap, my mig died in the arse and i would much rather just get a cheap DC tig.

Just a thought, did you consider cutting out the whole floor and building a full space frame under it, not much more work than your doing, but a whole lot stronger and lighter.
