If you are only going to use the block and the crank it probably does not matter which version 7A-FE you get. How much of the motor are you going to use? In Australia they came in:
AE94 Seca liftback (rare 1993 model)
AE102
AE112
would use the template but this is just a question.
which car do people get the 7afe out of for the 7age convo, ie which is best, there car so many cars i dont know which to get?

i knew i'd seen a 1.8 badge on a ae92 seca!!!! that explains it.
thats all i have to add...

^^^Thats so true!
i was telling my mate how much of a wanker this guy was putting 1.8 badges on what i thought was ure average 1.6 4afe seca!
owned.
On a side note, i replaced my 4ac bottom end with a ae102 7a item a while ago, and it runs great with the relativly low reving 4ac head, BUT in all seriousness would never put a 4age head on one.
The under-square 7a bottom end doesn't like revving, Ive seen them fail first hand.
Its not so much that the rod caps pull the threads out of the rod and fuck shit up in ure block,
Its more the fact that the bottom end doesn't want to make power after like 6k, the 4age head is the exact opposite, it wants to rev higher than that, it makes its power above that range.
The $$$ and effort of the 7age doesnt add up for me. gimmi a fresh 4age anyday.
my opinion only.![]()
did u use the stock pistons?
30kw club
i will rebuild the hole bottom end and use smallport pistons
