What ya doin rio your awfully quiet
im always quiet.
im debating in my head if i should keep saving through this year and next year so ill be able to buy a ft86 with cash.
id love to be able to drop 30-35k on a table and get one built fully optioned.
lol fairy muff
But what if we dont get it?
if we dont get it that 30-35k will become a s2000. and we will get it, maybe 6-12months later than the rest of the world but we will get it.
im guessing toyota australia wont want to sell it here until they see sales figures in other countries first
It is coming here as a subi, that is fact, but it will an STi and my contact says it will be 60k+, whther toyota will let us have it in its original format is the if.

so i assumed i had a chipped ecu in my e30 because my rev limit was higher than normal.
i opened my ecu up and checked and found out i was wrong. so i then purchased a chip that promised a tune for 91 octane unleaded (opposed to the tune for 1983 unleaded...), +50-60hp, aggressive timings and a higher rev limit.
the chip has been sitting on my table next to my computer for 2 months. i thought it was a waste of money and it wouldnt really do anything.
ive been sick for a week and today i got around to installing it. it took me 5mins to remove sections of my dash, the ecu, open the ecu and swap chips then put everything back.
took my car for a spin. it started almost immediately unlike before where it would take 2 secs. my throttle response is upped. before it would get to 60% throttle and between there and 100% did nothing. now its progressive all the way to 100%. it feels like its got another 30-40hp.
sliding it is so much easier now aswell. almost too easy
