Default moving panhard rod mounting points

after lowering my ke, the car now sits just touching the bump stops, which makes it not that nice to drive... Before I cut the bump stops out, I have to do something about the panhard rod because at the moment the exhaust touches it and if I cut the bump stops itll only make the problem worse, the other thing is the diff sits over to the drivers side because of the panhard angle...

Seems to me the easiest way to fix the problem is relocate the mounting point for the panhard rod on the diff housing to sit a bit lower as at the moment it angles upwards towards the passenger side and I want to keep the exhaust I have and also keep the panhard rod relatively horizontal.

Is there any reason I shouldnt do it this way (as opposed to getting a panhard rod with a bend in it)

    cheers

Suspension is important. Exhaust is cheap rubbish than can be changed later.
Get the suspension right, then change the exhaust later to go around it. OK?

Go ahead and cut your bump stops in half. But, your car is probably too low by the sounds of it. Buy some new springs and start again.

Buy an adjustable length panhard rod. Don't worry about the angle.

just had a better look at the car, the exhaust is definately hitting the panhard, but theres alot more room that i first thought, might just modify the exhaust after all, and make the panhard adjustable length.

your exhaust is the problem - not the panhard - your car isnt even that low - ive seen many more E7's tucking rear wheels and they have no issues.

dont touch the panhard - just cut out the "over diff" section of the exhaust - then replace with a straight section under the diff.

    problem solved.
