    Default S13 front + CBYs = Wheels?

So I have an 86 with S13 coilovers with CBY flairs,
Did some very, very basic maths today with some 15x10-25s fitted & dont think the 15x8-4s will fit either, experience please

I had s13 front with cby flairs.. 15x8 -4 fits EASY.. 10-25 is a bit extreme though.. that will sit the outside of the rim 46mm further out.. May need to mod the flair alittle

maybe consider getting a shorter controll arm instead of the s13 one? (r31 perhaps)

my mate had 14x8 0 offset (with 185/60 slight stretch, more just "flat" with the rim, as opposed to bulgy) on the front of his spoontah with heavily flared standard guards with s13 gear. they "fit" but it didn't really fit....

by heavily flared i mean, we just unfolded the lip completely, and bashed it with a hammer, and filled the gaps with bog. dodgy brothers. i wouldn't want to try and fit anything larger than that that on "standard" guards with s13 gear.

do flares really give you that much more space? from what i've seen they tend to just go a little more than standard guards, just without the lip.

These are CBY flares Dave... ther HUGE.. lol

these are 8-4 all round with a diff that was 40mm a side wider than standard and the wheels are still hiding.. That pic was with a normal 86 front end in it..
It went s13 front and had plenty of room.. back to normal 86 sus now without cby's..

    far out they are massive.....

remind me of the jacked up 4wd's you see, with those huge plastic "guards".

that looks a bit funny though on that 86....

oi big fella... sorry missed the calls yeah

i fitted 25mm spacers to mine the other day to clear the brakes, soooo 16x8 -15 and they really dont wanna fit under my guards. Are your cby sitting bigger than my split guard?

quick math your rim would be 35mm further out than mine..... from memory i recon its doable lol...

Working out the rim size/offset isnt easy with CBY flares... theres alot more flare then you think.

Specs are; Front 14x9 -19 and adjustable LCAs about 30mm over
Rear 14x9.5 -25, JDM T-Series and 20mm bolt on spacers

(btw, front is very high atm as theres no engine in it)

I gotta try and work out how to make 15x9-20 on a 30mm longer lca fit under stock steel.. without resorting to 6+ degress of camber.
    Gunna be intresting..

That pic with the 10's on the front.. that using s13 LCA.??

I don't get full lock on mine atm cause the wheel hits the chassis. (but I've only got my lca set 10mm longer than stock atm) Might stuff around with it tomorow..

Im in the same boat as you... running a 15 x 9 -20 Work Meister S2 with a 195/50 Toyo R1R, adj. LCA's, and want to do it under stock steel. AND keep it lowlowlow.

Thinking about going to flares actually like the black 86 Stain posted. But dunno if I want to go that far.

Dom86... do you have any larger versions of those pics?
