    Default harnesses

    Pretty simple

How have guys fitted harnesses to their KE70s? As in where on rear parcel shelf? and where do the bottom brackets attach?

    4-point Sabelt items btw

    pics would be useful

    Cheers, Ben.

Id suggest using a harness bar of some description as the metal on the rear parcel shelf I doubt would be sufficent for harness mounting unless you use the child safety seat anchorage points.....as for the side mounts, replace the seatbelt clip bolt and the B-pillar retractor mounting bolt with proper eyelets as these places are both designed with strength in mind

Matt (pen15) bolted his to all the factory seat belt mount bolts. So he used the front bottom 2 as usual and used 2 rear seatbelt holes in the back.

Its not ideal though because its better to have them go back to a harness bar which is higher up.

Its more so that if you have them doing down too far then it can compress your spine in a crash which might very well paralyse you.

yeah what golberg said - the ideal angle is within 10' downward of the horozontal line drawn from the driveres sholders, but you can go up to 40' angle down.
    and straps short as possible.

Any cage builder worth his salt should be able to build a legal harness bar.

And yes, get one put in.
