Marv's L200 Mira

So I bought this for something I can daily and have fun in the hills with and look legal.

Want to coilover convert the front, or will just put L500 or something coilovers all around.

Stud pattern is 4x110, so I will be buying some from YJP, looking at mild 14x6 TE37 or watas would be cool with 155 55.

Keep it simple, clean and legal looking as I don't want it impounded for 3 months.

Drove it home last night, blew SHIT LOADS of smoke everywhere, only seems to be on take off.. but not very happy. Was running a bit hot most of the way with thermo fan on, the previous owner said it only has water in it and not coolant...

Sooooo, I will have to see, I thought it might have been shit fuel from sitting for months, but after 100kms and 3/4 of new BP98 it still did it.

Sooo, might have to throw another in, which if I do might throw the TRX engine in, or keep it simple and throw another 660cc NA in.


Here are some photos, It's got stock springs in at the moment and it's got stock tail lights in the boot ready to be put back on. Inside has been retrimed and it's actually pretty cool. It Has 100 xxx kms, which is pretty good as I see these for sale with double..

Few things I will be doing (including a roadie)

New steering wheel as the current one is raped.
Drivers side mirror has no glass.
Take that black shit that is over the lights off.. (mayyyybe)
Paint the bonnet ANY form of red.

And I guess I will have a look at the engine and see how it goes.

Almost lost my shit when I saw you got this! did you see those 14x6 riversides with 155/55's in the for sale section? 114.3 but some stud battern conversion spacers will sort that! Looks gangsta just needs wheels

Yeah, pretty broke though, got well under 2k for it at the moment., to get it on the road and the engine sorted (if it has issues)

Wanting to get 110, as a converter will bring it out 15mm or so..

i jumped on this morn to see if u posted any pis of mira. It looks pretty neat. bummer about the smoke tho, did u isolate the issue? I was looking around for front struts, will try to get car trailer and tow ball by next week also so i can Archie as often as possible. And yeah to whoever was asking, Ima try to keep it as lowdown and j-cool as possible, although may fail in the process :p
