    Default Backspace/Caliper clearance on Longchamps...

    Hey Guys,

looking at picking up some longchamp XR4s from GTII

He told me that the backspace / brake clearance is fairly low, I was wondering if anyone had measurements or a pic they could share as he's not able to take measurements for me.

    they're 15x 6.5 +18 & 7x+11

    greatly appreciated,
    Bj.

Whether or not the wheels clear your calipers will depend on the wheel's face type. Without knowing it or trial fitting the wheels, we can't tell for sure if the wheels will clear.

What brake setup are you running? If it's the standard 86/*e7* brakes, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Best to trial fit and see if you're happy with where they sit though.

they'd be slapped on an Australian R31 with Import (HR31) brakes (bigger rotor and caliper) I dont like my chances.

unfortunately the distance between me and the wheels is a bloody long way. I've given them a pass for now after having alook at some back side pics of various longchamps with similar proportions.

    thanks for the replies guys.

what caliper??? the r31 use s13 for something bigger in which case u would only need a slip on 5 mm spacer...
