    looking at people opinions on stripping weight out of my 86...

    some stripping/replacing ideas

    buy dry ice and strip all the sound deadener.
    remove all plastics and door trims.
    remove sound system/head unit and unnecessary wiring
    remove all passenger seating and keep only drivers
    run light wheels - not steelies
    fibreglass fenders/doors/bumpers

    quick question is this a road going car or strictly track only, as their is alot of things you can do but most will probably be more suited to a track only car

    drink a full glass of metamucil at least an hour before any track event... you'd be surprised the amount of weight you can "dump" that way.
