no its all stock, there should be a little bracket on the inlet manifold that the cable bolts onto, then the cable simply goes onto the throttal body

im running a ke70 4k cable on mine and it fits fine. youve just got to run it under and around the intake and tighten the nuts on the cable to the bracket just before the throttle body. like in tims pic, you can see the cable next to the oil cap.
