Is something bent?

hey guys, chucked my bigport in my 86 yesterday. and i relized i had lost my x member for gearbox.
but the problem is at the back of engine at the firewall. there is a water hose or something of the sort that is majorly kinked against the wall.

When i install the x member for the box will it give more room at the firewall??.

The engine came out of my ae71 and had plenty of room for the hose.

4ac or 4age i pressume ? i would be its fine its just hard against the firewall because its dropped down, being no gearbox mount...

as above, that thing is probably whats stopping your engine from dropping more

Or maybe you might have the engine mounts in the wrong holes on the block?

Im buying a x member and should have it in by mid next week as it needs to be posted. ill let ya know if the hose is still kinked againts the firewall.
