    Default wierd noise

    hey guys, my ke70 is making a clicking noise whenever i steer left or right . Any advice on wat it is would be good.

    more info ... full lock , any type of turning force?
    check the bushes and uni joints

    check that inside wheel weights aren't hitting the strut or or anything like that

    i got the same problem mine are the bearings in the top of the struts, pulled the bearings out n repacked them but few 100k's later noise started happening again, tried to find some bearings to replace them but can only get genuine toyota ones 200 bucks each! might be able to get other bearings from a bearing shop if i was to take them in but i cant afford to have the keto off the road.
    urs may be a different problem though
    but yeah as faceplant said check the bushes and uni joints first

    sure you packing them with HTB(high tension bearing) grease other wise the greese just turns to like oil and fucks off

    yeah used htb, was all done right old man was a motor mechanic for 20 years so he was there giving a watchful eye hahaha

    Re-greasing won't fix a collapsed bearing. Remove strut top, stick finger in bearing and rotate. If it's crunchy as shit, remove, clean, if it's still crunchy, replace.

    KE70alex, more information required.

    do you have coilovers with standard strut top? if so, its probably the spring hat not seating against the strut top bearing - try putting a spacer in between (washer).
