black top ecu pin out?
has any one got a black top ecu pin out for computor no....

it seems to be different to other black top pin outs i have found!
the computor is out of a manual ae111! thhank you this help would be appreciated! if can get wire colours as well that would be good!
i dont know what the ecu part number is but is it 20v or sc ecu
you had a look at club4ag ?
they got a nice reference section on that website.

If you are unsure, open the ecu and look at the pinouts on the board. match it to those on the club4ag website, It should be the same. It's a manual ecu, it's even listed as that on EPC.

i would love to open it but as the story goes..... my neigbour has a lotus club man kit car that he has bilt from scratch and as the polution laws go he had to send it away to get re mapped and when he goes to register it , it needs to be fully sealed by law, the pin out seems to be different from club 4ag it was out of a 6 speed manual, that may be the difference?

sorry ant! the power plug doesnt have batt and batt + right next to each other, mainly my problem seems to be i dont have 5volts constant to the map sensor it iseems to bounce between 2.7 and 3.2 volts i can put 5 volts direct to the map sensor wire and she runs beautifully i just wanted to know if this bloke has missed a feed to the computor or if it has to be sent back to the computor remaping bloke in melbourne! and it does have full voltage to the computor! this computor has different wiring colours aswell as every other 20v computor pin outs i have seen! thanks ant
Hey, blacktops only have one 12V pin so thats normal. which diagram are you referring to? they all should only show one power pin (black/white on a blacktop).
The floating 5V rail could defintely be associated with the workshop's "remapping" (they usually just trick the map sensor or coolant temp sensor to get the mixtures they want - pretty dodgy).
Dont know, try a known-good ECU to test the loom? Check for 5V out of the ECU before the loom itself?
yeah thanks ant! i did check it from the computor not from the loom it does seem that it is not getting the correct voltage from the ecu i was just wondering if it needed another feed to steady the voltage! it sounds as if the remapping people are at fault! interesting that you said they stuff with the coolant temp sensor or the map sensor side of things! the material i found for diagrams are from 4ag club, colours and pinout are wrong/different to the computor i have (similar but different) anyway thanks mate for everything! i will let you know!
