well more drama as this car has seemed to attract so well...

fixed timing belt, cas, ect ect. that all went sweet apart from the tensioner mount shearing off, that was easily rectifyed though.

car is only running on 1/2 cylinders and mabey intermitantly on no.3 (odd bang every now and the plug's black)

i've checked and checked again, cam timing is good. belt and cam pully's are exactally where they should be/
compression is good, 160 psi across the board
    new spark plugs
tryed running different tunes through it
get's spark across all 4 cylinders
    fuel pressure's good
swapped coilpacks around with same result's, assume all are good here. (no rings either)

not out of idea's yet, i'm fairly i've blocked up the injectors, i ran the fuel tank fairly low so it might have picked up so crap.
the fuel is easy 6 months old, that probley not helping but not the problem.
so will drain the tank and flush the system. and see if theres a way to clean injectors by myself? ideally i should take them somwhere but don't have time.

will throw a timing light on it tomorrow as well to see it they are actually firing at the right time also.

if it's non of the above then im fresh out ideas...???

i was thinking of just doing this, exept i can manually pulse any injector with the adaptronic. so i should be able to give em a rough clean like that fairly easily and safely.
i could try cranking the fuel pressure up first though?

the head has only just been rebuilt, so im assuming unless it's had a catastrophic failure with the valves it should be good. should at least fire if im getting high comp readings.

    Best way to clean injectors!
Maybe since your Nissan isn't running, it's transfering all the Nissan AIDS to the other car in the garage?

alright, i can not get this running!

i've now tryed everything, i've interchanged the injectors between 1,2 and 3,4 now and still same story, running on only 1,2
and have manually pulsed each one as well
    that rules out injectors.

i've now checked ignition timing and 1 and 4 are the same at 15 degrees as they should
so all ign timing is in check and is getting spark.

    there is strong compression

fuel pressure is strong and steady

    fireing order is correct

fuel, spark and timing. im getting these 3 elements so i should have a perfect running engine!
i've cross checked both injectors and coil packs and they are good so i don't understand?

anyone got any ideas? i can only think ecu now?
is there any sensor on the beams that would stop 3,4 from firing?

Moved any wiring around? Might have some interference in a circuit somewhere?
