Been setting up an adap 440 on a mates mx5 with 20v ITB's - seems good for the price and andy from adaptronic has been really helpful.
Motec is in another league - also here they have dropped their price a bit too.
Ask Brendan how good Adapts are

Many run like a dream on adap not just Tim's but if you wanted to I guess you could single out a problem case for any brand and refer people to that case. Hardly seems like an appropriate response from a site admin towards a sponsor's product though.
The injectors, sensors, coilpacks and VVT solenoids all tested up fine. I checked the ecu over and it didn't quite have the triggering set up correctly which would definitely have caused issues like Clay was experiencing. It's all been put right so hopefully that's the end of the problems.
right, got the ecu back on and it fixed all issues and is back up running on 4.
after playing around on the dyno it was still running like a bag of dicks. turned out the throttles had rattled loose and very far out of adjustment.
while we were stuffing around with that the fuel sender unit started leaking, within a few minutes the small weeping leak was pissing copious amount of fuel out so we had to flag the tune as there was just too much fuel going every where.
so in the end i didn't get a run on the dyno but im pretty confident i've ironed most of all the issues that have bugged me for so long.
so im gonna pull the car down now and few quite a few issues that i've never been happy with.
got lots of stuff to do with the front end new rad support is on the top of the list. need to fix up all these dodgys properly
so i bit the bullet and swapped all the suspention into the old faithful ke70 for the private trackday.
picies!
vids! number 1 and 3 are the better laps
