    looking for a set of used smallport pistions in good condition

    hey mate

    got some here. pulled them out of a 20V block and threw them in a box... haven't touched them for about 2 yrs.

    got plenty of oil on them though.

    shall we say.....if you come and get them, you can have them if you bring me 2 x 2L of cokacola, as they are of no use to me.

    i also have a brand new set of late model bigport pistons (20mm bearing thing). but i dont think they will suit your application.

    btw you realise 20v and smallport pistons are different yer? they just both have the 20mm gudgeon pin.

    but will the fit the 7rib and work i.e not fuck shit up and are they better or the same as smallport pistons?

    well they have 5 cut-outs on them, as opposed to small-port have 4.

    they came out of a 7rib...so long as you have 20mm small end conrods then i cant see them being a problem.

    after a quick google it appears that running the 20V pistons with 16V head, the engine becomes an interference engine. apparently you get a nice compression ratio though.

    Just make sure you tension your timing belt properly
