GX71 Cresta (SA)
For sale I have my Toyota Cresta.
The car is running, but not drivable as is. Originally I purchased the car and it had no compression in the 4th cyl, so I replaced the head, and gave everything a freshen up in the process, with a VRS kit too. The turbos have also been replaced with some better condition ones. Recently I had an exhaust made up at Exhaust Technology, consisting of a 2.5 inch, Mandrel bent, mild steel system with 1muffler. I have a new distributor cap to go with it too.
The car is in limp mode, possibly due to a solenoid in the auto trans. Ignition and cam timing also needs to be set correctly. At the moment, I suspect that the cam timing is correct, just the ignition timing needs to be sorted.
Body wise, there is some rust, but I'm going to hit it up with some zinc spray to help prevent it getting worse.
I have simply run out of funds to continue with this car, and once on the drivable, it will rarely be driven.
Looking for Around $2000 as a fair chunk of the work has been done.
