They are flares from a pair of fronts, but have been shaped as they are. There's some info on it somewhere in here lol. For now im gonna leave them as is they've grown on me, but I still want wider wheels so once i eventually find some 8.5/9 volk meshies ill probably revisit the rear flares, they look big but don't actually have much clearance as stupid me didn't bash the old lip underneath enough before this one was welded on.
There's a set of volk mesh on here with minor damage for $350, buy them and turn them into 9's or 10's. Costs about $250 per wheel.
how do you turn them into 9s and 10s i cant find dishes anywhere ?
whitehorse industries do it i think, you'd probs be best off getting someone over here to organise it for you then have them posted over? would be a killer in postage just for outers though.
Update; Spent about 5 hours on saturday polishing up the black volks, came up alright but couldnt really get to the inner edge of the dish around where the centre bolts to the dish, will need to pull the centre out to do it but really can't be bothered. Im glad I didn't pay $50 a wheel to get them professionally polished either, 10 bucks on those fabric "discs" from supercheap and some time on it and they've came up mint.
Got tyres fitted to the wheels too (175/65 & 185/60 achilles platinum), and chucked them on after i polished them, rears aren't wide enough/dont have enough neg offset. fronts are absolutely perfect with the 175/65s on the 7.5", car just needs more low. will have pics up tonight/tomorrow or something.
Pics, would like wider/lower offset rears, but front's are mint. Needs more low!
