not sure if this has been posted but here's a link.
not real good for drift. looks like a small loop section in the north eastern part of the circuit. but a bit boring.
what do you think. anyone want a Japanese style drift circuit in sydney??
yeah there was some talk of this last year on some other forums . does look abit boring but i guess anything is better then nothing ..
yes we need one. has anybody thought of writing to the CAMS and telling them how we feel about drifting and how it is here to stay .

Australia really does need a world class circuit.
hmmm in reality no one on here is going to do nothin else but watch F1.. drift is awsome, eveyone can compete and have fun..thats what its all about.

this is hardly breaking news... zoom/boost reported on this in 08, with those exact shots. and its not like they are a head of news in the automotive front.
In reality if they build this track no one on here will be allowed to use it.
they definitely wouldnt allow drifting on it.
They arent building this track to make sure Drifters have a fair go, they arent building it for fun.
They want big events, they want money, they want tourism.
Lets face the facts, Australia does not have a drifting culture, we have a history of big heavy v8 racing. And yes formula 1 would be great for tourism and would be a very smart idea economically as well. Drifters are cheapskates who want to get out on the track as cheap as possible and let the tail hang out, theres nothing wrong with this, but dont get surprised that people in high places dont support us.
All we can do is try. If we go down, we go down trying.
