    hepas of epic 5 stud wheels, 15x absolutely huge too, though with the sil front end it might be a bit to big, but anywhoo, i always see nice 5 studders on yahoo, it certainly doesn't limit your options, what size rims do you want to run?

    i believe 16" is the smallest wheel i can go over the 33 brakes. Im staying 5 stud because im putting a hilux rear end in and am keeping that 5 stud as well. There are heaps more options for 5 stud wheels that 4 stud, and everyone who has a nice set of 4 stud wheels of whatever wants big dollars for them and thinks they are sitting on a gold mine or something where as you find the same wheels in 5 stud there half the price.

    the gaurd, i couldnt even get them half way in lol, i have a mate coming round tomorrow with some stock s13 struts to see if they fit any better.

    s13 stuffs real low
    even standed s13 struts in my bros laurel he was almost tucking tyre

    im not being rude at all man, im really looking foward to seeing this conversion take place, but i dont know why so many guys go the S13 front. control arms way to long, strut assy way to short, as you have just found out.
    if you want big brakes look at my build thread, you can go nissan brakes on ST141 struts on 86 or rona or sigma LCA's with a few conversion parts i sell, very similar KPI to ae86, and 296mm and 33 calipers should fit under 15's, i have R32 and 280mm rotors and their is a stack of room under my 15's, i would go 33 with an adapter that can be brought off shelf if i had them, as the R32 stuff you need a 5mm slip for clearance.

    you get the big brakes, you have all the correct bump and tavel in the shocks, heaps of height adjustment, correct ackerman, heaps of lock... no need for S13 stuff

    no offence taken, i had no idea the s13 stuff was so low and i went down that path because it was soo cheap but like you said now im finding out the hard way. I'll have a look at your thread but im pretty keen on sticking with the r33 brakes as i really want this thing to stop on a dime.

    I assume you've tried raising the lock rings up as high as they go to get more front height/clearance?

    i have sr20det brakes and it stops perfectly man.
    and as for suspension thats weird it should be able to go high enough i see you have height adjustment same as mine and mine goes hell high or that low that rails sit on ground and tire bout inch off of ground
