Headlight glass: the ae82 glass is a direct replacement for the 86 glass

Wheel studs: Varius other shock absorbers are avialable for other models that have different lengths, for more information please visit this link: Interchangable wheel studs

Seats: AW11 MR2 seats are a direct bolt in and ae71 seats are a very close fit and can be used.

Door locks: Daihatsu charade (84ish model) door locks are exactly the same as sprinter ones

Strut tops: The strut tops of a KE70 strut tops bolt into an AE86 and give you more caster

Headlight lenses: 180, mr2 & trueno hav the same headlight lens as do RA60/st162 celicas

Light switch: the ae86 light switch is the same as Ford EA falcon

Front wheel bearings: ae92 rear bearings may fit AE86 front bearings.

Front shock absorbers: Varius other shock absorbers are avialable for other models that have different lengths and valving, for more information please visit this link: Front suspension options

Rear shock absorbers: Varius other shock absorbers are avialable for other models that have different lengths and valving, for more information please visit this link: Rear suspension options

Rear Springs: XD to XF series falcon rear springs can be cut down to suit the rear on ae86's, 2.5 coils cut off is a good ride hight. siffens the rear to approx 6kg/mm

Suspension arms: The SV21 and other Camrys have adjustable rear arms that can be used for conversions. (Weld the adjusting part into another suspension arm).

Cylinder heads: Twin cam 16v GE heads will bolt onto a 4ac but will drop the compression very low (i think 6:1), but i could be possible to deck the head enough to raise the compression or just get some GE pistons. One of my mates has made 110rwhp reliably using this set-up and twin solex carbs.

Boss kits: AE82 boss kits fit ae86's

Alternator brackets: The bracket off a 4afe for the alternator will bolt striaght onto other 4A based blocks

Alternators: The alternator off a Celica st185 fits perfectly for a 4age, and can deliver 20 amps more current.

Bonnet hinges: ae82 and ae86 bonnet hinges are identical

Bellhousings: JDM 4AGE bellhousing are a direct fit in place of an Australian T50, however the slave cylender is on the drivers side instead of the passeneger side, an RA60 solid clutch line and T18 Clutch slave is an exact fit to suit the change of side.

Assorted extras: RA60 celica - rear hatch struts, number plate lights, windscreen washer pump & bracket and rear seat release knobs are all compatable with a sprinter

Steering racks: AW11 and AE86 manual steering racks are identical

Heater: The interior heater box, fan assembly, and A/C units are all identical or interchangable between AE86, TE71 and KE70. The heater core of the TE71 has one outlet pointing the other way, which can be fixed. The non-A/C air duct from a KE70 can be used to convert a AE86 back to non-A/C.

i own both an AW11 and an AE86 and i can confirm aw11 seats and ae86 seats are NOT directly interchangable.

the driver side seat, right hand side rail sits slightly out and can not be bolted, you need to make a way of spacing it.

i adapted a recaro on ae86 rails to fit in my aw11. sits very nicely and gave a perfect driving position, but needed work to be able to bolt at all 4 mounting points.

Some leads to give an idea for more searching:
    - RA40 strut legs fit (may have an issue fitting the big spring and top hat in the strut tower). Gives the bigger stub axle and a good base for sutom brake upgrades
    - XT130 strut leg and hub, RA60 disc, MX62 caliper (with a little machining), AE86 top spring perch and custom spring gives you a good, ventilated brake upgrade
    - XT130 strut, Peugot disc, Hilux 4 pot calipers is a classic conversion. Again need to sort something with the spring.
    - XT130 (and many others) have a lower control arm 10mm longer than AE86. Gives about 1 degree neg camber.
    - RA40 tie rod tubes and tie rod ends allow for extra adjustment if you widen your track.
    - ST141 discs bolt up to many drum braked diffs with a few mods (S, T, E and some F series).
    - AE82 steering wheel fits for a nice, factory looking swap.
    - T18 diff bolts in (if you can find one nowadays) with T18 rear section of the tailshaft. Takes any T series centre.
    - RA40 diffs have been rumoured to have been fitted. A little more work involved.
    - AE71 gearbox is the same T50. Most people know this nowadays, so you're unlikely to stumble over a bargain any more.
    - Many radiators and thermos fit with minimal work (V6 camry??, ST162, some old Excel??)
    - R32 non-ABS, S14??, some old Corona, widebody Camry??, and more brake master cylinders fit if an upgrade is needed.
    - MA61 seats are rumoured to fit.

    Hen

Note, if I mention it's rumoured, or there's question marks beside it I haven't personally tried it, but have heard it discussed. The rest I've tried first hand.

Ive tried MA61 on the passengers side and it wouldn't fit straight in but 3 of the 4 bolts lined up just would have needed a bracket extended on the last one

Confirmed. Parrot originally did this and Hen welded in the mounts (2 x ST162 bolt on mounts) for the one currently sitting in my sprinter.

also sw20 mr2 seats fit fairly easily.

Just need to widen the 2 rear holes slightly and use the standardpacker to make it sit level.
