For the whole time I’ve had the car it’s been absolutely faultless, it’s been used as a daily driver getting me to and from work every day, down to the shops, everything. It was tuned by mark at MADAZ February last year and made 206rwkw on 12psi (have dyno sheet) I’ve done several sprint lap days at Mallala and also one private day where I tried drift, every track day I’ve had no dramas. Oil changed after every track day, it’s been regularly serviced with good oil/fluids/plugs. 90% of the time it’s driven around town off boost but yes, it has seen the track.
Bad Points
-Body work is average; paint on the bonnet is a rattle can job to cover flaking paint and dents. Has pin dents on roof, some bumper scratches etc.
-2nd gear is notchy and needs to be rev matched to get into gear when coming down through the gears. Its fine for normal driving but at rev’s it’s hard. Having said this it’s probably due for a g/box oil change.
-Speedo and fuel gauge do not work. This happened after changing to a Microtech ECU, as it’s a digital dash. This can be fixed if you have a JZX81 digital dash wiring diagram.
-Odometer stopped clicking over when the Speedo stopped working; the dash cluster is out the same front cut as the motor so the km’s are some what accurate at 150,XXX. (Speedo stopped working maybe 6-8 months ago).
Reason for Sale – Genuinely hating the fact I have to sell this, need to take some time off work for personal reasons which means several months without an income, I’ll be getting a much cheaper run about until I’m in a better financial position.
Asking Price - I have brand new HKS 256dur 8.7lift CAMS and a 100,000km service kit (timing belt etc) which I was going to put in very soon. These can be included in the sale if the buyer is interested.
$13,500 with CAMS
$12,500 without
Fairly firm on these prices, I can negotiate slightly but not a great deal.
Car will also come with a bunch of spares. Spare pair of 17X9.5 A80 rims, stock front struts and a whole box of other bits and pieces.
I realise this is a huge rambling for sale Ad but I want potential buyers to know as much as possible before they contact me. If you’re genuinely interested SMS or call 0421 002 069 or send me a PM as I log in at least once a day.
