how the hell are they base height adjustable struts ???
Hi guys, I'm going overseas this weekend, and I'm in desperate need of some spending money while I'm there. For this reason I'm letting my Coilovers go for cheap.
So here's how it works;
Asking price is $950.
Any decent offer close to that will get them otherwise the best offer before the weekend gets 'em.
Here's a pic, look at them, what are they worth to you? Make me an offer, you never know. you might get lucky.
(Complete as pictured; No hubs or brakes)
Less then 500km's old, 7kg/mm springs around KBY AGX short stroke shocks from an sw20, 4 way adjustable in custom assembled, shortened, base height adjustable AE86 struts with Tein camber tops.
Pick up location: South Side of Brisbane.
how the hell are they base height adjustable struts ???
their not
the dyno pull to 300rwkw
BT20v is making 300rwkw like i said i would without nitrous so now its time for some spray and see if she will run a 10s or less
Sorry that slipped in there, I wrote it late at night, I meant just height adjustable.
How much were they shortened by?
I'm not too sure on the exact measurement, as I got them done professionally. But if you like, if you measure your struts, I can measure mine the same way and we can work out the difference.
Anyone interested?
Here is a price breakdown in case anyone doesn't understand what a bargain this is.
Coilover Sleeve kits - $235.
Springs - $175
kby agx inserts - $395
labour - $150
Ae86 Struts - $150-$300
Tein Camber Tops - $150
Total - $1405
Seriously, these are cheap!
since when did ae86 struts become 300 and sleeve kits normally do come with the coils themselfs..
You can check with Custom Compact for prices, This is what I actually paid. Struts will fetch up to $300 in high demand, it's hard to put a price on something that isn't sold new, so it's a sliding scale. I actually paid $1105 to have these created because my struts were free with the car. So if someone offered $600 or $700 it's still extremely cheap. No?
