Todd, is item #19 them wicked green things that you got with the coilover struts or another set that just happened to be freshly painted in black?
I've had a few sets, and like todd, they have all been FIRMLY attached to the backing plate. To the point where i gave up and just asumed they were welded together! lol.

The dust cover is spot welded to the mounting bracket in 4 places.
WTF is "waced" ????
Yeah, i was wondering the same thing. Is that like spelling wasted when you are wasted? or is it the way kids speak in "the hood" these days?
whacked maybe?
lol thanks tim. I guess I was trying to say 'whacked' as in ' It's got me confused'
yeah thanks for all your help fellas. I bought all my parts individually and I guess neither my calipers or struts came with the dust plate/brackets. And being a noob i didnt realise I was missing it.
I found a set of brackets in Brisbane and so it should all be sweet.
Thanks again for your swift answers. Much appreciated.

Somoene was probably using a brake upgrade which came with caliper brackets and wanted to keep them.
