They proabably are but i was meaning from a damping point of view, you wont notice that they are crap if you are just doing skids on a smooth track with stiff as hell spring rates.

what I meant is exactly what you said in the next post bellow this one.

D2, G4 and the others were crap, BC are coilovers which heaps of people are using and so far no one has reported any issues with them wereas these neo max coilovers no one has ever heard of so there is no way of knowing what the quality is like until they use them. So I would much rather go out and buy BC stuff instead of these just for the fact that you know that other people have used them with no complaints.

Or for the extra $500 you can get HSD as you have said and its still going to be cheaper then building a quality custom setup as what I have done and many others have done which you wont get much change out of $1800 for the front set up alone.

Just because someone reports no issues with coilovers doesnt meanthat they are any good, they just didnt break/blow up or leak.

If you want shit damping and a harsh ride then buy these off the shelf kits that are cheap as chips. You can still skid your car but when you start driving 10/10ths you notice their shortcomings.

If you want a car that is still compliant though stiff, handles bumps well and sticks to the road build your own with proven shocks, from Bilstein, KYB, TRD, Tokico etc.

I haven't heard any complaints about bc, only heard of one snapping, seen plenty of g4/d2's bent or snapped.

I went with the ones ajps do, just make a coilover kit, save the hassle i say. Plus im running 200mm 6kg springs in the rear with some nice sway bars, just as good if not better then any coilover setup for the same price.

also remmeber that if a company is new, that means not many ppl would have bought them yet, and thus not many ppl have been able to comment on them. both good and bad comments that is.

at some stage HSD/KYB were new companies that "knowone had even heard of".

and how many people knew about them, or had used them in january 1921?

i belive koni has been around since the 1950's or something

i guess thats why they are both regarded so well.

To me it honestly looks like another d2/ g4/ k sport / abra cafucking dabra copy version of each other.

Depends if your a punter and want to risk it, hell they could be the best thing since sliced bread but you just never know, stick with brands that have proven themselves other wise you might come across a dud brand and end up wasting your hard earned dorras
