looking at that, only a tiny amount of rail needs to be removed hahaha, whoops, guess the next shell will be a bit better.

Thats not progress, just me fitting parts I should of 6 months ago.
Pulled the engine down today, obviously, but I am thinking it has had a rebuild, although the bores are fairly average (read gunky) but the decks, plug vallies, water jackets, are all immaculate, it had aftermarket 1.3mm head gaskets, and there is evidence the oil pump, and water pump have been removed. So I am thinking a dropped valve, and something has gone through the turbo, which would be why it is in such good condition. Shame I will be rebuilding it again.
are you gonna run the spider manifold backwards with the throttle body facing forwards? you will need to relocate the alternator to where the AC normally would be.
My AE86 the long build : http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/fo...ead.php?t=8965 < the new rebirth of Wolverine starting from page 41.

yep, just flip it over, and fabricate a bracket, its a pretty easy thing to do. But I might set it up so it runs two belts instead of one, and then I can use the AC tensioner.
