Had an absolute shit of a day yesterday, broken drill bits, jig bits, shitty welds on my engine mounts, clearance issue with the left head, etc etc etc.
Fixed the clearance issue today, what a cunt that was, as I had to replace part of the rail all better now though. Gbox and tunnel tomorrow is the plan, then fit the new steering rack, brake booster, and clutch master.
I have given up on the MY01 ecu for now, so fucking hard to sort out, well for me anyway. Will set it up and get it running on the RA ecu, because I know I can do that with my eyes shut hahaha.
But yeah the target is fire up before the new year, fingers crossed.

nah mate, she's a looong way from being able to have fun in her. Hopefully mid next year, june would be nice, so I can have some drive time before superlap.

The box is a tight fit.
The shifter will come up just infront of the handbrake, kinda cool as the steering wheel is just if front of where the shifter comes through. going to need some sort of pedal box me thinks hahaha.

Making it all work was a bit harder than I anticipated. Never had to retro fit a tunnel from another car, wouldn't of done it if it wasn't for the shifter. I will get there eventually, but its starting to come together. Going to have to go full length tunnel too which sucks.
Need to stop standing there looking at the engine bay and get on with it. ah well tomorrow is a new day, need to get it finished.
