Thought maybe if I made it sorta look like an ae86, it might help with the motivation?

Having a prick of a time with designing the strut towers. I need to retain and use the std strut towers as.per WTAC Open Class rules. So i need to attach the top half to the rail and.not sure how to make it structurely sound. Anyone have any ideas?

Also anyone that has a grinder, and wants to join me.in wire wheeling the eintire car (not really but pretty much) pm me i will supply wire wheels and possibly beer.

Rofl!! An update is an update, still cheering since... Well how long has this build been going on for?

Not trashing it in the bin shows more then enough motivation coming from you.

    Keep at it

The first time I measured it up, with a cardboard box, in the same dimension as an EJ, was the 13th of May 2010. So lets call it 27 months as of friday week lol. One month of that has been actual work. The rest is bitching amd moaning

As silly as it sounds, there is too much of an intellectual amd emotional investment in this mass of steel, for me to quit now. I have owned this car for 5 years as of the 28th of November, I have driven it 3 times, I want to drive it again. Lets just hope its not another 5 years lol.

When i first saw this thread i laughed quietly to myself and thought this car will never see the road again and the next time we'd see it, it would be on our supermarket shelves containing dog food.

After reading through the entire thread, an hour to two well worth spending, I have confidence it will be back on the road before most people who have ordered an 86 will get it delivered.
