As for the gaurds and bumper, I dunno yet, not really a concern at the moment.
Bought my diff yesterday, it's out of a v8 commi. So has big disks etc etc, the axles and centres can be had very easily, and a fair bit cheaper than jap stuff, and I won't be able to break it, like every other diff I have had over the years. Only one I haven't broken is in the mirage (knocks on wood). Also I have been looking into running a triangulated 4 link or tri link what ever you want to call it, but I am unsure whether it will hold the diff in place, with out the need for a watts link, or panhard. Or whether it will rip itself out of the car. Any one got any experience with them?
Bought some welding wire last week, weldcor, I think it was, its fucking shit, won't use it again. So my new wire will be here with the rest of my sheet steel on thursday, so if I stop being sick, and it doesn't rain (I really need a shed), the front end will be completed and engine bay painted next week I hope. Then I need to save and save and save for my halfcut.
So, no not much progress.
