Surprising that they have the bonnet vents near the rear and not 1/3 the way from the front of the car.

well then they can get rid of the hot air from the entire bay not just the radiator.

In a way yes but the lowest pressure on the bonnet is 1/3 the way from the front like on the evo's. I don't think their radiator would be performing as good as it could be because of this. Either way the vents in the rear will still help out.

that would pressurise the engine bay at race speeds and probably make the cooling system work worse... anything from about 2/3rds of the way down the bonnet pressurises at speed.
