your finger isnt that bad mine was worse btw i think you need to give up some inof on the build that way i thik people will stop making assumptions

i would like to know what diff you are going to be using bmc and things like that are you going watts link or just a panhard rod?

is there going to be much clearance between your exhaust pipes (turbo) and your crossmember?

these are just a few things i wanna get my head around

i would love to see this done like you said i like the fact you are doing it just because u want to and not giving a shit what other people say, its something different and i like it

    mat
    the dyno pull to 300rwkw

BT20v is making 300rwkw like i said i would without nitrous so now its time for some spray and see if she will run a 10s or less

Can't go tube front cal, going to use RHS, so I guess it will be sorta tube haha.

Thanks for the kind words mat. It has a G series in it, will be running watts link, as the diff is set up for it anyway, but that will be done as part of the cage. In regards to the headers, it is close, but I may get away woth out having to scallop the cross member like the subi ones. I will be running the headers to the front of the bay, turbo will blow through a v mount set up.

Radiator is going in the boot, But because of how subi water pumps are set up, I am going to run a header tank in the bay, with an EWP, to pump it down the back. Sounds like a bit of a silly plan, but there a fair few pros to running it with the header tank.

Engine number one, will be a closed deck K block, whether I build it or not I haven't yet determined. I know I can push the STi gear to around the 250kw mark on 98, so I can't see it being too hard to go a little further with the e85. Not going to touch the heads, V3 RA STi heads aren't a bad thing, have Grp N cams, (unsure of size), so they can wait for the big 2.6l, but I am considering valves , springs and retainers, had to many of these fuckers drop valves over the yrs. Turbo will be a GT30, with 61 rear. Will be using the runners from the inlet manifold, but will be making a custom plenum. I would use the factory one, and just flip it, but it will hit the bonnet funnily enough. Sump obviously will need to be modified, but I will only be taking 15mm from the height, and making it a smidge wider. I have a Cusco clutch and fly for it, weighs in at a total of 7.8kg compared to nearly 13kg or so for the factory one. Also have an Microleb LTX-8 sitting in a workshop waiting for me. oh and billett rails and 850s for now.

    What else ya wanna know?

that's what i wanted to know and more as you might know im in the engine reco bizz so i know these motors drop valves we get heads in all the time lol lots of lebos love their sti's my boss refers to them as money makers hahaha

we build alot of stuff with toda gear seems to go well but titanium retainers wouldn't go astray

I've used alot of Supertech gear in these heads, and from another mob up in QLD. But it is something I want to pay attention to. Will also be doing a few breather and drain mods to the heads, and block, but thats secret stuff.
