    looks plenty thick.. dont know why you went into the wheel tub like that tho? explaination? thought the wheel would of rubbed right on there,

    There will be more wheel clearance than before dude. I still have to scallop the engine bay side of the rail, so I have to have it like that.

    Not far off this side being done now.

    Thought I ran out of gas (note shitty tack welds) there was a fucking lizard in the line, how he got there i do not know, but he was still kicking.

    haha no clay, the lizard didnt want to be photographed and legged it.

    But yeah it looks heaps better, just need to do the inner top bit, and side plate, bracing (depbating whether I should bother), and the tubes for the bolts, weld it all up, and the drivers rail is done (hoping for friday). Need to reinforce the strut tower too.

    Comparrison between old and new.



    Main portion of the old rail at the top, it weighs 4.8kg, and is only a part of the rail.

    bottom one is the new one, not finsihed, but not far off, it weighs 2.5kg, so half the weight, for more rail.
