KE70 VS AE71 need some info

so now me being new to this KE and AE world i have a question in terms of value

lets say there is a ke70 and an ae71 both in identical condition which is worth more ?

as far as i can tell they are very similar (apart from the engines) but is the KE70 worth more because its was the original or...... is the ae71 worth more because it has the 4ac in it already and is easier to convert to 4age ! just wondering ...........

AE71 > KE70.

yes ke's have a cable clutch, ae's have hydraulic, to change to a 4age you'll need a hydraulic line meaning you neow need to factor in pedal box, clutch line, slave cyl and engine x member, tailshaft and gearbox too don't forget

if you can get an ae71, get the ae71

flat front ke's look better imo.... depends what u like, but generally a 71 will fetch more dough

just wondering i have a ke70 but never know what the real difference apart from the apparent, so really apart from the technical side no difference ! wow i do feel a little like i over paid fro my ke a little now !

ae71s shred ke70s. fact. they are actually like, ok to drive stock, not insanely ridiculously slow. like ke's. plus the parts to convert a ke70 are now quite rare and expensive.

budget, $600 easily, most likely more.

i would only ever buy a KE70 if it was near "perfect" condition. like really good interior and really good paint.
