Robbo are yours just TRD blues with a sleeve, that looks like a decent option.

I got my coupe from jp with TRD rears

These are another TRD pair I bought. The spring perch design is slightly different, but the same thing really...

Just to confirm what robo said, no extra bracing, I did 1 and a half drift seasons on them with no probs, even had the car airborne lol.
I could only guess how long they have been in the car, but they were well used when i got them.

Oh, the only thing is they are rare.
I do know of another set up that looks ok. I'll get some pics up.

lol. thats the whole point. theres no need for an extra middle man. anyway, im pretty sure i can beat you to the punch. i already know what to order, and im already a sponsor. so sorry, you lose, im the GAZ agent. and yes btw they are rebuildable.

i was actually planning to be the "agent" a fair while before gilly did it. and had plans to make them a full bolt in set up, gilly was selling them with the need to modify the body on an 86. i.e cut away a small portion of the "cup". this isnt at all necessary. all thats needed is a taller spring hat, or a spacer between the spring hat and the stock style rubber insulators, and ordering the threaded section an extra 50mm longer.

seriously, pay me $50 ontop of the retail price and ill order exactly what you need.

Thanks for all the pics and info! To be honest right now the cheapest option is going to work for what I need.
I'm guessing the Gaz option is going to be $1000+? The exchange rate is not the best at the momnet but I can get a pair of rear k-sports for under $700 delivered. Still not really cheap but any savings is a a plus.

Anyone got pics of the R32 option fitted up? I'm guessing there would need to be some modding of the lower mounting point?

    Opinions on these?

I found this rear coilover kit on Yahoo, It's similar to the TRD ones, in the way it mounts at the top at least.

...and once together could look like these.

If i remember correctly these ^^^ are N2 coilovers, on Yahoo also. As you can see the dampner is quite thick/heavy duty.

Not exactly cheap, but a good option I think.
