    Hi

I am running TRD unit very similar to the ones that Dom86 has shown up first

They are a TRD Red and very nice , from N2 racing and have the nicely shapped aluminium billet to fit up into the sandard cup in the rear chassis for the better distribution of the weight and forces.

They don't come cheap like this though even sec hand

I also have 2 sets of these in Japan ready for the next container.

    cheers

you know all this talk about it being a weak area and all makes me think. I have put a grinder through this area and the metal is fairly thick, sure it isn't almost completely under tension but it does seem thicker than a strut tower to me

the shock tower is 3 layers thick. the top will never fail i dont think. especially with a few extra spots around the seem. the diff mount maybe, but not if its gusseted.

re springs. im pretty sure any decent motorsport suplier can provide you 1.9" i.e springs now. that is what the gaz kit uses. 2.25 is what the kits ive been using use on the front..

I've recieved an email back from Gaz shocks in the UK and they have sent me this picture below. They are not the actual coilover but are pretty much what they will look like apart from some different top fittings and zinc coating/colours.

What do you guys think? Anything special I should be asking for? What sort of spring rate should I be wanting if the car is going to be used mainly for drift and daily driving. I would like it to be fairly stiff..

5kg should be perfect with a swaybar.
