I like what you've done with the engine bay - it's what I should've done in the first place!
Sv21 camry or ed civic ones are both similarities sized to ae86 ones. Have a pic of the s15 one? I could work out which other ones have the inlet and outlet where you need it

s13 radiators fit nice enough in the bay and should have the right fittings?
either way awesome work![]()
RIP Carly - a smile to light the world.

Had a rather long break where life got in the way.
Stuff is still happening and over the past few months the build has steadily kept going.
The end is near, 2 years of paying rego, almost at 3, so it's been motivation to get things done. So excited to finish and drive my car again.
PLMS Developments hooked me up with NISTUNE maps on the ECU.
Bonnet Latch looking ratty so sprayed it up. Need to remember to wear a the mask next time.
Mounting Fans to the S13 rad:
Bit bigger compared to the 86 one.
Shan made up some rad brackets:
Hmmm.. Inlet is bit too close to the Rad inlet. Some cutting/modding or a new inlet will need to be fabbed up for the engine.
Made up intercooler brackets and put back some panels. All fits phew.
Got bit side-tracked. This bit was a bit weather worn so some painting was done.
Custom tailshaft made to suit the VL Commodore diff and S14 gearbox.
Shaft installing. Thanks Shannon.
Fits, measured it right at least.
Put some loctite on these too.
New gaskets for the turbo, mounted it properly and tested the intake with a filter I had from the old engine.
The shifter sits a bit further but still feels natural. Put some new gearbox fluid in.
Handbrake was cut so requires a bit more force now.
Shifter is actually put in backwards so it sit forward on a slant. Covering up the holes.
Thinking my cluster setup will be a bit like this, S15 stock cluster + Stack Boost Gauge, keep'in it simple.
Next week I'll mount my battery, start putting some wiring back in, and send her off to get some custom cooler, dump and exhaust piping fabbed up. Can't wait. Excited.

Re-located the battery in the passenger well, no decent spot in the bay anymore.
Putting the S15 harness in the bay, fits up pretty nicely so far.
Re-soldered the headlight harness back in and forgot to re-route it inside the hole. DOH!
All good, fixed it by 'modding' the fenders a bit, a mini wire tuck. Win.
Shan made up some brackets.
Car is officially out of the shed! Woot! On the way to the fabricators now, make up some intercooler and exhaust piping.![]()

Looking good. Who's doing the custom fabrication?
check out my build thread: http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/fo...-shuttle-wagon
Ok I've been super lazy with the updates. The car is running nicely so here's what's happened in the past I dunno year lol.
The 4age goes on a pallet to it's new owner.
Water Inlet had clearance issues fouling the radiator. Couldn't get a hose in between there.
Modded:
And 90 deg hose, now the water inlet and radiator all fit up nicely. Flows good.
Havoc Fab did a great job with the turbo piping, dump and exhaust. All custom fab and happy with it given the clearance issues of the exhaust.
There were many bends in the exhaust, thanks to the underside of the sprinter.
Fits super close to the underside. So far it's been fine speeding over bumps. Considering the suspension is pretty hard.
Also got a turbosmart BOV.
Might need to cover the filter bit fits up nice.

Decided to try and dampen the boot noise. But also there was a hole which let exhaust fumes in.
Firstly, cleaned it up with wire brush/sandpaper and painted some rust proof.
Not Dynamat but the cheap stuff from Bunnings. Seems to work well.

I should add guys at JLC helped me out with wiring and got her up running nicely.
Car then moved out of the shed and has been happily in my garage with some weekend driving
I wasn't too happy with the original brakes so after some research got a 15" wheels Willwood Brake kit. Decided to get em over the FC RX7 kit as mostly just got them at a good deal. Plus they clear a little better than the RX7 calipers which are a bit wider. A bit lighter if that matters.
Also chucked in a 1" Master. Bleeding was a bitch.
Significantly Lighter and of course more pistons
275mm Drilled and Vented. Old Rotors and pads were so rooted. Uneven wear and cracked pads.
Clearance was good.
Not as nice as the AJPS single adapter but still bolted up nicely. Plus the gold matches the BC coilovers
Rotor bolted on to Wheel Hub and braided lines (fittings didn't come assembled to the line which was annoying).
Must say though, had to use Loctite on one of the L Bend fittings to the caliper because after testing, system leaked. So Loctite or teflon tape is needed for a good seal.
