Default GZE to work with my Sprinters Tacho

I've got an ADM sprinter with a 4AGZE in it, it runs and everything works apart from the tacho.

What is needed to make this work? and what wires need to go where?!?

a few seconds on the google machine revealed this:

why are people so pissy when it comes to searching? you could have answered the question and closed the thread instead of complaining they didn't use the search button, can't help you with this though dude

If people would search, you wouldn't have a hundred threads about the same thing. You'd have one or two comprehensive threads that have been dug up multiple times with EVERYTHING you need to know in them.

It's like people don't even try anymore because they know the internet will hand them the answers when they ask when you could use your brain just a tiny bit and google it or even go out to the car and try it.

Regarding tacho's of jap and aus cars: Why would they be different? Both do the same thing from the same signal. The only difference is the face panel showing different redlines.
