    haha will try to champ, going to get dads mate to look at it when hes free, found a thread on here repairing ae86 headlight switch ? steps sound like alot of headfucks taking dash appart

    it sounds hard but its actually really easy will take a second to take it apart, dont even need to take the dash facia out , you can just slip the switch out the side of it

    i had the same problem except with my dash lights, it was a broken wire.

    Had a similar issue with both my rear lights and headlight motors in my trueno.
    Both instances the solder joints were cracked.
    I just cleaned up the board with contact cleaner, re-heated, and added a little more solder.
    Haven't had any issues as yet.

    As others have said above, its probably the switch and a similar cracked solder joint issue.

    try google then,
    tried wifebeating the dash a bit with the palm of my hand, no flashes or any signal of other light coming on... still unsure if i should go through with pulling it apart cause i swear i could remember playing with the wiring right @ the root of the headlights when the low beams first died and you could move it a little up there and they would flicker on

    just take the switch out its easy as, will take a second to solder all the joints in, just make sure you solder all the pins on the inside of the switch , and also make sure you dont lose the little ball bearing in side the switch which holds it in place as you click it as that what happened to me and now my switch doesnt click into place

    fixed the issue, wasnt switch was the globes, low beam was kind of dead on drivers side now passenger side LOL that bulb was fkt was black ?! and was swollen had a fetus on the side,
    <3 10000k hids.
