Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I took the car back to the tailshaft place. They had a look at it and concluded that the difference between the angle of the pinion and the gearbox was too much something like 5 degrees out and as a result making the uni works outside of their optimal range which is like 3 degrees max.
Anyway they ended up recondition my spare two piece tailshaft with new joints and put that back in. There is still some vibration but no where near as bad. I will play with the rear ride height or try spacing the center bearing so it sits lower so the angle is closer to 0 on the weekend and see what happen.
