Default need help diagnosing a problem

i have a really high pitched squeal when i put on about 1/2 to 3/4 throttle. i have 20v trumpets and at first i thought it may have been noisy injectors but it seems a bit loud and constant to be that. maybe a rooted bearing? any ideas guys?

air leak somewhere, if its throttle related its unlikely to be something mechanical unless your alternators fucked

Checked the belts no problems there. What's the easiest way to check for an air leak then?

i dont think it would be an airleak causing the problems.

air leaks will make noise at low throttle positions, since vacuum is higher etc.

unfortunately its pretty hard to diagnostic, wanna take a video? chuck it up on youtube?

Go back and tighten the belts anyway.

Or to diagnos the noise, spraw WD40 on the belts while then engine is squeeling and making the noise. If the noise suddenly stopps, you know its the belts.

Videos are a no go. Crappy iPhone mic didn't pick up the noise over my mad induction lol. I'll try the wd40 option. Btw I was wrong about when the noise kicks in, at around 10% throttle it starts and goes away around 25. Oh and it only does it when im driving sounds fine when I rev it parked? Sorry about that I haven't had the chance to drive it since I first posted.

both my first and second silvertop made/make this noise(sqeaky sort of whistle?), i think its just wat the quads sound like at those throttle positions when under load.
