4ac not starting...

use - daily

problem -

occurs/started when - I tried to turn it on last night

personal situation - need daily back from the dead

so the 4ac wouldn't start last night after going for a run, had the RAA diagnose the problem as a blown head gasket. pulled it apart today and found it was. so I changed it. now its all back together and still wont start. what else could the problem be?

does it crank but not fire?

is the dizzy timmed up corectly? and fuel lines right way round(eg. return hooked up to the pump)? or is it even getting fuel?

definitely getting fuel and from what I can tell there is spark.
I think I better check the timing tomorrow

If theres 1 thing i remember about pulling t50's out of ae86 with 4ac's
DONT TOUCH THE DIZZY.

Ill bet its the dizzy thats wrong. Or the cam isnt in time.

Perhaps swap a few leads around and see if it changes anything. Flames out the carby anyone. If it does then its the dizzy fo shizzle

what does a t50 have to do with anything?

maybe taking the gearbox out of the car with the engine as one?

but yeah atm my money is on the timing/dizzy

points in the dizzy may be worn
