Default Car not starting, Going to burn it!!

    Car - ae71

    motor - 4age 16v

    use - el drifto

problem - No fuel or spark

occurs/started when - all the time

personal situation - have no car for work

ok, this is beyond ridiculous now.
My motor has no spark at all and injectors not going.

4age with wolf3d v4. the motor, gearbox, ecu and loom, everything was running in a ae86 before it has gone into my ae71.
i have checked everything and im now out of idea's. i have spoken to a few wolf specialists, who will not give me any information unless i bring the car down (i work 7 days a week) or pay the ridiculous $200+ p/h fee's!!

one of my mates said to look at the trigger wires?

Now i know its hard because you cant see the system but i will get some photo's up.
has anone had this problem witch running cas and wolf3d ecu?

also, with the ecu, its has a little black box wired into the loom. with that connected when the ignition turned on, the fuel pumps continually run, but with it disconected, fuels pumps run the turn off (like normal). but i have no idea what this black box is. it says on it reluctor interface 2 dual channel.
i have nfi what it is or what it controls.

    any help greatly appreciated.
let me know if you's need anymore information.

    First check the obvious:
    - Are the injectors getting power?
    - Is the ignitor getting power?
    - Etc...

Then check the diagnostic lights on the end of the Wolf box. The LEDs flash to show if you are getting inputs from the dizzy and pulsing the injectors and so on (get a Wolf manual if you don't already have one so you know what it all means).

And what sort of 4AGE is it? Mainly what sort of dizzy does it run? Bigport with 4 and 24?? tooth wheels or smallport with 2 and 24 tooth wheels? I have a Wolf V4 map for a 4AGZE (smallport type CAS) you could take a look at. It could be a start, but you'd have to change a few things given injector size and dizzy vs. twincoils. Drop me a PM with your email address if you're interested.

The black box is a helper for the ignition pickups. People have had problems with Wolfs on 4AGEs getting the ignition inputs running well and apparently that box helps (I've no experience with them and never have had troubles on my engines).

    hen,

    Yes injectors are getting power,
also have power to the coils.

there are no lights on the ecu lighting up for ignition or injectors. It's a JDM 4age 16v bigport.
as far as i know, its standard dizzy but the teeth have been filed down (which a friend of mine says was correct)

i'll shoot you a pm mate.
    cheers, Ben.

Fuel pump runs with black box connected because wolf thinks the engine is running/box is giving false readings?

Can you laptop it and see what the wolf thinks the sensors are telling it?

Although i dont consider myself even remotely intellectual with electronic my yrs fiddling with cars leads me to a conclusion.

Are all required earthing points attached

You'd be surprised what missing just 1 earth can do. Especially the engine earth to the chassis.

Injectors have power but are they being earthed but the ecu. Node light is beneficial for that.

The fact you have zero spark and injector pulse id start with an earth. Looking as dizzy signal etc wont find you shit i wouldn't think.

If ecu is reading a false signal from dizzy etc would it still try to fire injectors and ignition, i would think so. Unless it goes into a retard mode, and does nothing at all.

Hey guys, thanks for your reply's so far.

Hen i uploaded that map and had a play with it but still nothing.

Foldking, Yeah, well i have gone thru everything so far, and nothing either. all the earth's are good. etc etc.
even tho the ecu is aluminium, does that require the unit it self to be earthed? atm, it's mounted in the glove box.

Havent got the injector lights or ignition lights on ecu.

hey guys, i know this will sound stupid, but going over the car again and noticed that the the negative and positive wires in the origanal loom for the coil aren't hooked up to anything and the guy i brought it off said he wasnt sure if they were hooked up or not.
should i be hooking these up to the coils, or not?

Original coil wires are for original coil. You now have two coils running electronic ignition where it would originally have been a coil grounding out with the mechanical points.

Anyway, doesn't matter because the ECU doesn't know the motor's turning.
