Sam, I saw so many failed attempts at mounting coils so I thought I'd give this a try, only cost $10 to make the bracket and I used a rivet gun which puts a thread into the firewall so no need for messy self tappers. Here is a close up of them.
Thanks Clint, na dude, some little guy from out west came and got them for his datsun 1000 which he was putting a 253 in... weird guy.

well I like it, it shows unconventional thining for a very practical and neat result. I also have had multiple problems with mounting my coils till I mounted them on my strut brace. I am going to Yaris coils now so that will fix it.
