Hey all,
Up for sale is my 2004 Nissan skyline 300gt V35 Sedan.
Originally from Japan, the car is already completely compliance before I purchased it.
The car is silver in colour and features the premium interior package, which includes semi-leather seats and a Bose surround system.
The car carries a huge list of features, far greater than any locally produced sedan. Some of these highlights include;
· Auto headlight sensors
· On-board fuel consumption guide.
· Built in factory DVD player.
· 6 stack Bose audio CD player.
The car can comfortably seat 4 adult passengers, yet retains a very distinct ‘driveable feel’. The car features a straight 6 engine that produces 191kw with a 5 speed semi-automatic transmission that allows you to manually shift gears. This combined with a total weight of approx. 1450kg provides a car that is far more responsive and nimble than any commodore or falcon. With these figures as well, it lends itself to being an ideal safe, different, smart car for a young p plater.
Despite the driveability and power this car offers, not to mention the ‘skyline’ stigma, the car is exceptional on fuel. Currently with local driving and little to no freeway usage, the car is returning 10.5L per 100km (and I can back this up with my own records as well as the on-board computer, this isn’t a b^llsh^t claim from out of nowhere!)
Being a 2004, this car is the 2nd generation of V35.
The car has approximately 11 months registration and will come with a RWC on sale. It currently has 4 new tires fitted which are approx. 2000km old.
Similar cars to this on carsales fetch around $18k-21k, for the same year and KM. Slightly older models can be had for around 16k, BUT, my reserve is very substantially lower than this!
What’s the catch you ask?
There is one, the car has hail damage.
If this concerns you, apologies for the long read. If not read on!
The car has gone through all required fields by Vicroads, and is now completely cleared on all titles. This means the car has (and will again) pass a RWC without a concern. The car is registered as normal. The car has also passed a VIV inspection to remove it from the Repairable Write-Off Registar.
The damage is located on predominately the roof and bonnet. The doors do have some dints, but they are few. Being honest, the damage on the bonnet and roof is rather heavy, not in it’s depth but in its abundance. The bootlid is completely free of dints. I have priced a bonnet from Nissan and it will set you back approximately $900 for a brand new bonnet freighted from Japan. (As you can guess, a locally sourced bonnet will be substantially cheaper.) As for the roof damage, the guides i have been given tend to suggest a bill of around $1000 to repair using paintless dint removal (Please note: this is in no way a guarantee, just guides i have been giving by qualified panel beaters.)
So what this means is that for approx. $1500-$2000 on top of the purchase price you could have a perfect immaculate V35 sedan for a substantially lower price than you would pay on the market today!
Inspection is heavily recommended!
