Yeah drives very well for what it is... very budget set up but is pretty good for what I use it for. Needs a bit more suspension and bracing work to get the most out if it. Will be redoing the bushes etc soon and am looking into various types of bracing, will most likely fab up my own.
Picked up some new pipes for the old girl yesterday. 4-2-1. Apparently they are copy of a TRD design, not sure if they are or not but should flow considerably better than the 4-1 I'm running at the moment.
Look pretty average but are in good condition. Dropping them off to get sandblasted next week then I'll paint them up and fit them. Cheers to brad for the hook up

2 1/4 pipe 1 muffler. Think I might move the muffler to before the diff (it's currently right at the back after the diff) soon and make up some nice stainless twin pipes for the back to get a bit more rasp.

$1800 is a lot of money to pay for a few skids haha... Took a bit of a hit to the car budget this week but at least I still have my licence!
Currently trying to sort out the body styling of the car a bit so I can collect some new parts. Deciding between getting some redlines or full face zenki lights for the rear. I'm a big fan of redlines but haven't seen them on a red sprinter before and thinking it might be a bit much so am leaning towards towards the full face variety. Any opinions/pics to help me make my mind up?
Still not sure about the cressy lip either. Considering getting a proper lip spoiler but they are so pricey, cheapest I could find was $230 delivered for a topstage item. Can get a full aftermarket bar for not much more, I won't be running a full kit though so thought that if I fit a aftermarket front bar it might screw with the overall look of the car.
if youre only adding a lip i say zenki levin lights all round including going back to a adm/zenki levin grill.
i am a MASSIVE fan of the complete topstage kit if you add a trd style ducktail. if you do that however i suggest going panda bumpers, body colour matched skirts and trd wing.
with this setup the lights i suggest lotus/zenki levin lights for rear with some cheap ae82 number plate lights or get real zenki jdm ones. stick with zenki levin lights on the front and change the grill back to a adm/zenki levin.
if i got another ae86 (still looking for one thats up to my standard and local enough) i would do this^

Cheers Riojin, wouldn't mind a total zenki theme but not certain yet. I'm not a hardcore purist so don't mind mixing kouki/zenki bits. Definately leaning towards the zenki rear lights at the moment, seen a few pics of red sprinters with redlines and it looks a bit much without the blood panda paint to break it up. Think I might stick with the kouki theme up front with zenki rear just for maximum bastardisation haha.
And it's nice to be a more active member again, I didn't really ever leave though!
Not a great deal has been going on lately with the old girl, got my new extractors sand blasted and I painted them last night, came up really nice compared to what they were. Will hopefully fit them in the next couple of weeks.

Just been doing some general maintenance lately, got my new rear tyres fitted up on the back after a bit of mucking around which gave me a heap more guard clearance. Picked up some 8mm spacers for the rear so that should take care of fitment there, still hunting some 15/20mm spacers for the front though. Getting there slowly! Shed frog agrees!
