15x9 Rota's.

Have stumbled across some rumours that Rota will be doing a 15x9 -0 rota grid wheel..
Which I'm guessing will look like their 16x8 4x4 fitment rota grid. Which coincedently looks alot like a TE37v.. But suprisingly rota was selling those well befor the first TE37v pictures started to trickle onto the net..

But the point is.. 15x9's for sub $1000...

yeah 0 offset in a 9, on the front, will definitely limit the amount of lock you can get, with most peoples set ups.

anyway.. i guess its good news. i personally wouldnt run them. but i have my own ideas an opinions for some people i guess its a good thing.

1 thing i dont like about it. running that size wheel is something most people have to work up to. theyre expensive, but theyre also kinda a "mark of honor". cheap 15x9s is kinda cheating. but then theyre just rota's so..

yeah i reckon thats really a good summary of why knock offs dont get props

although, 15x9 0 is a really good size for alot of cars, r31, s13..

I wouldn't trust them for hard driving, but for skidders i would get a set when they make there way down to 14's.

Why wouldn't you trust them.? They've been around a while now and I haven't heard of someone breaking a Rota Grid yet..

Either way.. If they do come about I'll get a set. I already have a garage full of 15x9's (12 in total) But i'll still likely get a set of these if they do come about..
Firstly.. they will more than likely clear my brakes with out needing a spacer.. Which is +1 in there favour and second.. I won't really give a toss if I wreck one..
Plus. they'll be something differnt and not ugly like Sportmax..

i could go on about how china is ruining the japanese companies who make real performance parts and how so many are really struggling but no one would care so i wont bother....
