    Default 2nd red rocket

This is my second 86. It's currently a rolling shell.

Plans at the moment is to restore it to it's former glory and then pretty much make it my new daily driver.

First things we will be doing is fixing up the body, giving a respray and cutting out the disgusting sunroof. It was apparently a "dealer" fitted sunroof. Clearly a very "stylish" dealer option. We do however have a donor car to get rid of the sunroof.

For the running gear I just purchased a bare JDM 86 halfcut along with the other shit I need for it. Big thanks to Jay from Buddyparts to hooking me up with it!

    This is the car!

This is the donor car for the roof (purchased this for an extra $300 bucks with the back bumper and rear lights when I bought the rolling shell)

These are some of the parts I purchased today!

Will do another update when we begin work on it!

Ah well the car at the moment is at buddyparts to get it running. Once it is running the body work begins. However I have spent all my insurance money and my savings so luckily dad is lending me the money for the services at buddyparts but then I am going to have to owe him more money for some of the bodywork. In summary hopefully this car will be making fast progress soon but once it's done I am going to have to leave everything how it is while I pay back all the money I owe but once I've payed that stuff off I will be investing into the suspension

Haven't updated this in ages, still isn't on the road but is very close. I'm now broke and moving out in november so I won't be spending anymore money on this for a while. Pictures are more interesting then ranting so here you go. I'll do a "spec" list when I am driving it. Deadline for it to be on the road is the 28th of September.

Putting all this stuff in on the weekend hopefully. AJPS springs, Front TRD greens (using spacers) and short stroke KYB exel-g's for the rear. SSR's are 15x7 +1 which are going on the rear. Also changing the front brakes. Once it's all together it's pretty much finished.

Doubt anyone cares but I got it on the road (been driving it for a while now), I moved out of home so I have next to no money but current plans are: fix airbox (want stock/clean look) and fit rear wheels.

Currently the car is rolling on the 15x6.5 +18 on the front and 15x6.5 +11 on the rear, will be putting the 15x7 +1 on the rears however I need to roll my rear guards before trying to put them on because at the moment my current rears sometimes scrape. Also trying to decide whether to stick with 205/50's for now or to switch up to 195/50's.

pictures from the day I started driving it...it now has nearly clocked 130,000km's

Looks great! I reckon a zenki lip would finish the car off nicely.

Also did you use the stock JDM intake setup?
