Often read here but seldom post... KE's are starting to pick up here in South Africa...

Anyhooo, this is my drag, drift, gymmie, open track toy...










Having had a 4agze'd AE93 this was a drop in torque... but hey.. the RWD drivetrain makes up for that

After going thru 3 x 3t gearboxes Thanks to a buddy connection aka Elton, i sourced a 21R gearbox. Then thanks to another buddy bought a 4a bellhousing, 4agze Flywheel, Clutch and pressure plate, and 3/4 saturday afternoons, i swopped out the 3t for the 21R.
Had the Prop lengthened and balanced and presto!!! we had liftoff.
The gearbox was whining a bit but hey... I used ATF and till today it's going fine.
Then in december last year the Casing cracked right by the oil drain plug , day before Fast n Furious (a local year end racing event), I used a bit of Pratley steel (I'll never underestimate this stuff again!) and it's holding fine now for 9 months!! I just keep my eye on it tho

I then got sum pretty "feel good" TRD goodies for the Slantie the gear lever and Steering wheel:

and sprayed the sweet copper bronze i liked...




The metallic finish got wiped by the clear coat I used... so it's more of a bronze now

Gonna give them a flat then fit the tyres....

Still need to change the front PCD back to 114,3 though, cos the BBS's were 4x100

To do's:

Fit the SC12 lying in the shed,
Source and fit a M75 LSD (near impossible to find here let alone any decent aftermarket LSD) ,
Fit the Subaru front callipers i have,
Source and fit Coilovers...
Replace the Gotech ECU with Diktator wasted spark...
