AE86 with a broken door handle

Just purchased a shiny new 86 and the next morning my daughter pulled on the handle too hard and a part inside snapped off of the plastic rest for the metal mechanism. We tried gluing it but its under too much pressure and snaps off. My question is: Is there a replaceable part from another corolla, or will i need to source genuine 86 parts.

yeah i think my 86 went thru the same thing, (im interstate and my dads looking after it) short answer NO

so you can either try and find a cheap door that has the lock
OR
buy new from toyota for about $90

Yup about that, and its a pain to take them in and out too.

Thankfully Toyota has them in stock so just bought a new one. Thanks for the help.
