    Default 7age lower gearbox mounts

    Car - AE86

    motor - 7age

    use - street

problem - standard 4age lower gearbox mounts don't bolt up to a 7a block

    occurs/started when - decided to use a 7a...

    Hi all,

I've got a 7age which i'm about to put into my car, I'm just wondering what other people have done for the lower gearbox mounts. I'm using a 7a sump so it has the alloy mount built in that doesn't line up.

I have been thinking about using a piece of steel plate to clamp the gearbox to the sump. Sort of sandwiching the alloy mount between the plate and the gearbox.

Does anyone have other ideas? What have people done with this?

    Cheers
    Blake
